The Lord’s Prayer

Most people appreciate and gain strength from the Lord’s Prayer.  Even if people are not involved in a church, they still feel comforted by its words.  There are good reasons why many recovery groups end their times together with the Lord’s Prayer.

If you forgot the words, here is the more traditional version.

Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us;
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
Amen.
