– Officiant thanks attendees, acknowledges grief, invites God’s presence.
3. Scripture Reading (3–5 minutes)
– Example: Psalm 23, John 14:1–6, or 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18.
4. Congregational Hymn / Special Music (3–5 minutes)
– A song of comfort or a favorite of the loved one.
5. Eulogy / Personal Tributes (10–15 minutes)
– Delivered by family member(s) or close friend.
– Could also include short tributes or memories from others.
6. Reading / Poem / Reflection (Optional, 3 minutes)
– A poem, letter, or meaningful reflection.
7. Sermon / Message of Hope (10–15 minutes)
– Officiant shares words of comfort, faith, and eternal hope in Christ.
8. Closing Song / Hymn (3–5 minutes)
– Example: Amazing Grace, Great Is Thy Faithfulness, or another meaningful song.
9. Closing Prayer & Benediction (2–3 minutes)
– Officiant closes with blessing, peace, and hope.
10. Committal / Graveside Service (Optional, 10–15 minutes)
– At the cemetery: brief Scripture, words of committal, prayer, and blessing.
