Pastor Randy’s Family 

Randy and Judi have been married since 1989. Although they met and dated in high school, they eventually got married after college.  After marrying in Ohio, they moved to Arizona.

Judi is a currently a 3rd grade teacher at Anthem School.

All three children are married to God-fearing spouses and they are over the moon for their three grand kiddos.

Pastor Randy Williams has been a pastor since 1986. Most of those years included ministry to teens and college students. From 2002 to 2016, Randy has focused his ministry attention to adults and families, including weddings, memorials, and other pastoral care responsibilities such as crisis and hospital ministry at a non-denominational community church in North Scottsdale.  On November 13, 2016, Randy became the senior pastor of a thriving church in Anthem, AZ, called Sonoran Chapel.

Pastor Randy has planned and participated in hundreds of funerals, memorials, and graveside services over the past 25 years.  With him he will bring many ideas on how to best celebrate the life of your loved one.

Randy’s educational background, which includes an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in theological studies, has provided him with a solid foundation of knowledge and understanding of the Bible and Christian theology. However, it’s his personal qualities and his ability to relate to people on a deep and meaningful level that make him such an effective and beloved pastor.

Randy has a natural empathy and compassion for others, and he takes the time to really listen to and understand the challenges and concerns that people are facing in their lives. He has a disarming and non-judgmental presence that allows people to open up and share their deepest thoughts and feelings.

Randy is also a gifted communicator who has the ability to articulate complex theological concepts in a way that is clear, engaging, and relatable. His sermons are often filled with personal anecdotes and real-life examples that help people to see the relevance of the Bible’s teachings to their everyday lives.

But it’s Randy’s genuine love for people that truly sets him apart. He has a natural ability to connect with people on a heart level and to make them feel seen, heard, and valued. People from all walks of life are drawn to Randy’s warmth, kindness, and authenticity. They know that he genuinely cares about their well-being and that he is always there for them, no matter what.

Randy’s unique combination of formal education, personal qualities, and genuine love for people has made him a truly exceptional pastor. He has a profound impact on the lives of those who know him, and he is a shining example of what it means to be a true servant of God.

Randy is passionate about his family, his church and making a positive difference in the lives of people through weddings and memorials.  He treats all people with respect and love whether or not they attend his church or any church for that matter.

In his spare time you’ll find him watching Thee Ohio State Buckeyes, running the mountain behind his house, playing tennis or driving West on I-10 to the ocean.
